A member of the Board of Trustees of the Peoples Democratic Party and Leader of the party in Ogun State, Hon. (Dr) Oladidupo Adebutu has sent his congratulatory message to the newly elected National Party Chairman, Senator Iyorchia Ayu and other members of Peoples Democratic Party's National Executive Council and National Working Committee.
Adebutu in a release signed by his media consultant, Afolabi Orekoya on Sunday while congratulating the newly elected National Officers, also expressed his satisfaction and happiness on the successful conduct of the party’s National Convention which produced the new officers.
"It's a great joy to have capable people at the helm of affairs to lead the largest party in Africa, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) who emerged from a successful National Convention on Saturday, 30th October, 2021”.
He said further that PDP has shown the nation that the party is ready to rescue our great country from hands of the ruling party to save the nation from bad governance, insecurity, lack of growth and development.
“This has given Nigerians the positive image and confidence that PDP is the party that can positively and progressive run the affairs of our great country without any fear”.
While thanking the National leaders of the party and delegates for their cooperation and support to the Convention Committee, he sought for the support of the PDP family towards the success of new National Executive Council.
The release also contained words of prayer for a successful tenure in office; "I pray, your tenure as the National Executive Committee of our party will bring tremendous fortunes and outstanding victories to the party."
