Our correspondents who accompanied the Honourable Minister of Defense Convoy from Abuja to Zamfara reported that, "the Honourable Minister choose to visit Zamfara State during this festive period by road instead using Airplane to boost the Morales of soldiers Stationed almost every 4 kilometers from Funtua Highway to Sokoto who are working day and night to provide Security for the Motorist for the job well done as the kidnapping incidences is gradually becoming a history due to the quick response of the Nigerian security forces.

The Honourable Minister had also made several stopover before reaching the State Capital Gusau to sympathize with the victims of the previous
Security Challenges.
